Hello from Cornwall

I live near to Camborne in Cornwall. I have long been a driver of BL and Rover cars, having had many Maestros and Montegos and P4, P5 and SD1s. I have a Rover 25 Commerce van which I have had for quite a few years. I have recently taken on a 216i Cabriolet and a 220 Coupe. I had been trying to buy this Coupe for a couple of years and had to buy both to get it! I am going to pass the Cabriolet on to my friend on long term loan but use the Coupe, myself, once I have repaired it.

Great to hear you have a 25 Commerce: there aren't many of those around! It would be great if you could share some pictures with us.
My 220 originated from Cornwall: it was a demonstrator at R.C.Harding in Penzance.

Nice to find more people who don't view owning several Rovers as a problem
Hope to see you at an event or 2 though the year but appreciate not many will be on your doorstep, unless you know differently....

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I will try to get round to posting some pics. I do hope to get to one of the events this year. The Longbridge event, in April, is out as it clashes with a big local event. My primary transport interests are on two and three wheels and riding rather than showing, but if nothing clashes, I will try to get to Roverfest in August, hopefully with the coupe and cab.

I will ride anything! Present everyday bike is a 1986 Honda VFR750. I also have bikes ranging in age from a 1922 Velocette to a 1993 Gilera GFR. For three wheel fun, I presently have a James Handyvan and a Norton 500T. I do as many road trials as I can fit in each year.
