Restoration opportunity

Hi, My dad had a rover 200 and when he passed i tok it on and ran it
to work daily.
However it has just sat on my drive for almost a year as the value of
the car doesnt justify the financial input needed to now pass its mot
etc.
My Dad owned from New and only has 60665 genuine miles on it. I dont
want to just scrap it as at one time i was going to restore it but it
hasnt happened. Im looking for someone with the enthusiasm to do it up
and keep it going for the next 20 years!!
If i put a battery on it i reckon it would start within 3 turns.
So I was hoping one of your members was looking to restore one to keep
my dads pride and joy alive.
All id want is to see it when done.

Could you tell us a little more about the car, e.g. what year it was first registered, what size engine etc.

I can understand your enthusiasm for seeing the car back on the road again: I now have my late Dad's 216 which was his first retirement car and was then passed to my brother after Dad changed it for a new Honda several years later. It needs quite a lot of work, but at least it is still a viable project and will be really nice again when finished.
