here's another lil project iv been getting all the parts to build over the years my early 1.4 vvc turbo build iv wanted to do a 1.4 turbo like no one else has done befor its a early 1.4 closed deck block vvc head 1.8 crank and rods 1.4 bore it wont be a 1.4 tho more like a 1.6 iv finely got all the parts I want to use now I'm on to the stage where I'm sorting the valve pockets in the liners for the vvc vavles I need to swap the 1.4 pistons over to the 1.8 rods so I can sort the cut outs on the bottom of the liners so the 1.8 rods miss the liners with the 1.8 stroke I'm going to run it on a t16 turbo ecu for the time being and been told loads of times it can not be done so were see what will happen

I'm not 100% sure if to keep the vvc setup or go to a solid cam setup on the vvc head and will be more of a 1.6 with the 1.8 stroke fitted but will still call it the 1.4 vvc turbo *laughs*

if I can see 200bhp with this build il be happy when the pockets and cut outs are done on the liners can build the engine up if I go with a solid cam setup I will run a t16 550 ecu
