RCOC T4 Services

Post by rjessett »

Dear all,

The Rover Coupe Owners Club are starting to offer "T4" (Genuine Rover Dealer Diagnostic tool) services to members of the club. This includes facilities such as Fob programming, ECU matching, etc.

A full thread detailing the service is here:- https://forum.rover-coupe.com/viewtopic ... 23&t=37885 (you will need to sign into the forum, but sign up is free!)

There are full details of the charging model in place. Full Members of the RCOC get a discount, and we are pleased to open this discounted rate up to fully paid members of the Rover 200/400 club as well.

Any questions, please shout.

Richard.

Sounds a great idea - as such link-ups between kindred clubs can only be to the good.

That said - how about considering a scheme for "specialist tools" for Club members to loan against a returnable deposit or whatever?

Regards to all,

Stan.

I have thought about that one, as I have quite a few of the unique tools, KV6 cambelt kit, locking tools, lifting tools. But Im a bit precious of them, so don't want to let them out of my sight. Even with a huge deposit, some of the stuff is so rare, its almost non-replacable. If I had duplicates I would.

Yes talk about but apart from the low value tools that are still available if you know where to look (which after outward and return postage you might as well by your self) the is not much that owners would let out of their site. No one is going to be posting out a T4 machine setup which can cost thousands of pounds which is more that the cost of most of our cars anytime soon,

That would be a bite like putting some on the insurance of your beloved Rover and letting them drive it about for a threw weeks.
