Continental breakfast with gorgeous croissants tea or coffee at 9.30, then everybody was given his road-book, and sheets with 10 questions & 10 spots to identify.
A very fine wine tasting at half way in a charming vineyard with a stunning landscape dominating hundreds of vine rows, under an old oak tree.
In the end a tasty lunch with a nice Dutch couple as counterparts.
Four equal winners with 19/20: two Brits & two French crews, the entente cordiale!
Guess who was one of the awarded French teams...
I let you admire the top cars: Riley RMB 2.5 1949, Ford Mustang GT 350, TVR, a rare Lancia Appia cabriolet, Jaguar cabriolet, Lotus Europe, Mazda MX-5, Chevrolet Corvette Z51, MGB, (three Citroën 2CV among which 2 RHD) and our modest Rover 214 cabby.
And the prize: a bottle of fine white wine we'd tasted some time earlier: chenin grape, like along the Loire valley.
A Rover on the podium!
