Hi all, I was out in my R8 today - I operated the window and heard a clunk and the window stopped working.

It looks as though the pivot of has come away from the motor - hard to describe but I've recorded a short video.

I can work out how to put It back together, but I think I must be missing a clip or something, but for the life of me I can't work out what.

Any ideas appreciated.

OK I’ve found the problem. Thanks to the post I’ve linked to below I’ve realised the coiled spring is missing. God knows where it is though as it’s not in the door cavity!!

I think I’ve fixed this.
There was no spring but I’ve managed to reassemble the mechanism.
Got to put the door back together tomorrow.
