Deganwy, Conwy 17 August 2025
Travelling on Glan y Mor Road heading from Deganwy in the direction of Conwy, a purple 200 Cabriolet. I was in my red 216 Cabriolet going in the opposite direction. We acknowledge each other, but briefly. Was it you?

Friend saw the same Cabby down Conwy Valley a few days after I saw it in Deganwy/Conwy. Assume it was on holiday enjoying the north wales coast and mountains. Nice to know that there are still some Cabbies about.

Re: Deganwy, Conwy 17 August 2025
it is exactly 12 months since I posted my original sighting of a Cabriolet 200 in Deganwy. The rarity of the Rover marque is indicated by the fact that I have not seen another Cabbie since my original sighting.
Recently I took my Cabbie to the July gathering of Cars and Coffee on the Prom in Rhos-on-Sea and it raised a few eyebrows. I couldn’t stay long at the event but the number of people who came to talk about the Rover marque, and the Cabriolet in particular, surprised me. The rarity of our cars has increased as has the interest in them. I cannot go out for a quick shop these days without someone wanting to chat and tell me stories of their having owned a Rover. The cars are held in great affection and I am privileged to own one of the ever decreasing number.

There is a new generation who have never heard of Rover and don't recognise the Badge.
