Alloys?

Post by paulslp »

Hi all, thinking of maybe replacing the alloys on my R8 Cabriolet, does anyone have any pictures of what wheels they've put on their cars?

Cheers all,

Do you have Instagram or Facebook?

Plenty of pics on there.

I put Streetwise alloys on my 420 Tourer after I was inspired by pics of a lovely looking Tourer in Germany with those wheels on.

I opted for MG 17" Straights on my Cabbie.

They're an 'in house', as it were, upgrade & fill the arches nicely. I did find I needed to fit 5mm as the fronts scrubbed on full-lock.

The MG 16" Hairpins look nice too on the Wedges.

I did have a set of 17" 5 spokes on at one point, but never really liked them.

Nice one. Rover made great alloys didn’t they? There’s not many of them I don’t like!

I really liked the 16" Gridspoke alloys, I did look for a set but the prices were quite high, I had a set on my 218 bubble.
