You can download a copy and play with it to your heart's content... but I guarantee you'll be shaking your head at some point.

You'll find that 9,112 Rover 200 vehicles, 5,690 400s, 129 25s and 32 45s were taken off the roads - a total of 14,963, there or thereabouts

This is out of a total of 392,227.

Some of these will be linked to the scrappage scheme but there are all the other reasons too - MOT failures, accidents etc.

This has been done by trying to interpret the info logged at registration - in fact the only amusing things about this list are the wrong names

Shocking reading. Working through alphabetically, you obviously hit Austin early on..... it makes you wince looking at what was scrapped .

There won't necessarily be equivalent documents for other years. It shows this as a FoI release, which would probably have just been produced on request. In theory, anyone can submit a FoI request to get other years' info.
