The reflectors in the headlamps do have a habit of "going off" with age-they turn milky. It's worth trying a pair of uprated headlamp bulbs before the expense of new headlamps, though; as above, Osram Nightbreakers are my preferred bulb. They've made a big difference in all of the various cars I've fitted them to.

Hi thanks for your reply’s
Called by my garage as I was passing,they thought the reflectors were fine,and replaced the bulbs with Lucas +150 bulbs,not had the opportunity to try them yet..
