In your hand you are holding two relays connectors from R25, and wire colours do match to R25 diagram I sent you. You will not have same wire colours on the R200 diagram as you have on R25 so in this case you will have to match them by function and not by colours.

I've decided that my spare 2002 1.4 25 is too rusty to save (pretty much no sills left) so I'm going to grab the Aircon and possibly the alloy wheels for my daughter's much nicer car (same engine, same age). So I'm after a wee bit of help if you can....
Roverlike: Could you send me those wiring diagrams of the Aircon wiring and point me in the right direction for how much of the donor to remove?
General:
The condenser, fan, pipework, receiver drier, compressor and brackets are all fairly obvious. The drive belt arrangement is different, too, so I'll check for any extra pulleys etc.
Questions are:
1) I assume that the whole heater box has to come out - so, therefore the dash does
2) is there a convenient place to separate the wiring - both in the engine bay and dash?
3) Is there anything obvious that I'm missing?

You need to PM me your email address and I will gladly send you requested info.
I will try to sum up what you need to remove:
- Compressor
- Engine mount for compressor as well as new mount for alternator
- New auxiliray belt which drives alternator and compressor
- Idler pulley for the new belt
- Aircon radiator
- Aircon fan
- Complete aircon piping (metal and rubber ones)
- Evaporator which goes inside the cabin with thermal sensor on it
- Receiver/dryer with sensor switch on it
- Relays for the aircon
- Aircon switch inside the cabin
- New pins (3 or 4) for the engine ECU (I would suggest to remove complete ECU wiring)
- Wiring of the engine ECU, switch, relay module, evaporator, receiver/dryer, aircon fan
- All brackets that are attached to any of above mentioned items need to be removed with them including points to which brackets were attached if they are removable.
Regarding wiring I would suggest to remove complete wiring that covers above mentioned items including engine ECU.
GTi John will be your 'method of removal' man............I was a mere spectator when he stripped everything out of my breaker (I was busy removing various body and trim items at the time).
Your job may be easier than his regarding the wiring, as the two cars you are working with are of similar age. For example, the foglamp and electric mirror wiring is already incorporated in the main harness so there is a possibility that a lot of the aircon wiring is already there waiting to have the various components plugged in.
